I am an artist from Mid Wales.Living and working on a rural smallholding where the landscape, wildlife, and rhythms of the natural world shape my practice. Immersed daily in this environment, I spend long, quiet hours observing and photographing the animals and plants that inhabit our land. These moments of stillness and patience form the foundation of my work.
My artwork is created using a distinctive stippling technique, drawn entirely with 0.1mm Dots. Through thousands of meticulously placed marks, I build texture, depth, and form, allowing each piece to emerge slowly over time. Some of my larger works take hundreds of hours to complete, reflecting both the intensity of the process and my commitment to careful observation and craftsmanship.
The animals and botanical elements I depict are observed firsthand. By translating these intimate encounters into highly detailed drawings, I aim to honour the quiet complexity of the natural world and invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the often-overlooked ecosystems of beauty found in rural landscapes.
